Nemo keeps a long beard, reaching to his chest. He wears the uniform of a Hindu prince, complete with a turban. While his uniform is usually blue, he has one in black for more somber occasions, and one in white for while he is worshipping Kali.

Abilities/Powers (if applicable): Captain Nemo is highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, as well as in swordplay and the martial arts. He is also a man of great intelligence, and his skills as a scientist and an inventor are invaluable to the League.
Weapons: His sword and his body. The Nautilus is also equipped with various weapons, including short range missiles.
Personality: As a younger man, Nemo was passionate and vengeful. He eventually shunned all land life in his strong beliefs. However, he has mellowed somewhat in his advanced age. He is very stoic, and seemingly impersonable, though he is fiercely loyal to his crew. He does not allow himself to get close to people, as he has lost much in his life. His true loves will always be his ship and the sea. He projects a stern, controlled confidence, and it takes something truly extraordinary to visibly affect him. He is of the Hindu faith, and worships Kali, goddess of eternal energy. She is often presented in as dark and violent—much like Nemo himself.
Brief Biography: Nemo was schooled in Europe, and is fluent in several languages. He returned to India as a young man, to serve as the prince to his kingdom, but rebelled against the British Empire after losing his family in the Indian Mutiny. He left India behind, eventually taking to the seas. In his submarine ship Nautilus Nemo attacked ships of the Empire.
He has been known to help the oppressed, such as when he gave salvaged treasure to Cretans revolting against their Turkish rulers. Having turned his view entirely from the land, Nemo set his sights on the sea, and his ship and everything on it is manufactured from resources gathered from the sea. Do to his attacking multiple ships at sea, Nemo gained something of a reputation of a pirate.
Eventually, he is contacted to be a part of the League, in exchange for the British government opening up talks with India about possible Indian independence.

Captain Nemo strode through the decks of his ship, the master of his domain. He entered the bridge and surveyed their position, allowing his first mate to come to him. “We’re approaching the docks, Captain,” Ishmael said, as he came to stand by his captain.
Nemo glanced over at the instruments, though he fully trusted Ishmael’s work. Watching their approach through the glass, he waited for a moment before giving his order.
“All ahead, stop,” he ordered firmly. The crew obeyed his commands, and he could feel his Lady’s engines whirling in reverse to slow the progress of the massive ship.
With that, he turned and exited the bridge in the same manner as he had entered. It was time to see what this League could do.
