Creator's Name: Shutchings (The Mad Hatter, Mr. Kite)
Name: Lord Rudyard Lungri/ Shere Khan Gender: Male Age: 57 Date of Birth: October 19th 1843 Race/Place of Origin/Species: Human/Feline Lycanthropist... born in British India; Mumbai Height: 6'5 Affiliation: (the League, the Law, Villains, or Neutral) Villains Appearence: (You may include a picture) Playby: (You may pick a celebrity to represent your character) George Sanders Abilities/Powers (if applicable): Occultist, Weretiger, expert swordsman Weapons: When human; sword hidden within cane. When tiger: claws, fangs, inhuman strength Personality: Archetypal son of the empire. He is educated, sophisticated and devastatingly intelligent. Though his public image is that of a charming aristocratic bachelor, and by proxy a shameless flatterer, his soul is swimming with vengeance and fury and the lust to kill all those who dare defy him and the law of his "jungle". He sees world as a canvas of wild beauty and despises those who would tame it. As such he becomes conflicted with his heartfelt love of British Rule and his desire for wild anarchy. He has a violent temper that is rarely seen in everyday society but that can turn into deadly rage and trigger one of his changes if he allows it to. He is, however, partial to a pretty face. There are elements of his personality that are certainly animalistic-- such as his intense territorial nature and control over "lower orders" Brief Biography: Lungri was born in British India, the son of the short-lived ambassador of Mumbai renowned alcoholic Peter Lungri. His childhood in India was cut short when he was sent to be educated and a suitably sadistic English boarding school where his whithered leg and need to walk with callipers or a crutch earnt him ridicule and cruel bullying. Returning to India in his late teens he was immediately enraptured by the untamed beauty of the country and resolved to make good of his disability and renew himself to be the man India demanded of him. He became an expert swordsman, an unparalleled hunter and as an interesting sidenote... an avid cricketer. But none of these activities slaked his thirst for grandeur and before long he had fallen in with a group of similarly restless young aristocrats who dappled in ancient Indian occultism. At these gatherings he was given the name Shere Khan in reference to his powerful and bloodlusting nature--- and one night a spell that the group attempted without any prior knowledge or ability, brought those elements of Shere Khan's nature into a physical form, Lungri having command over the body of a huge and powerful weretiger of brilliant, ghostly white. Bristling with the strength and power he had always been denied by his withered leg, Shere Khan put away any of Lungri's inhabitions and slaughtered the members of his occultist circle and sought revenge over those in India who ever doubted his abilities. But it wasn't long before the story of this ghostly mantiger reached the ears of famed big cat hunter Jim Corbett who came to India with the express purpose of shooting and stuffing Shere Khan. Lungri decided that he would go to London and claim the city as his own domain... to bring the wild nature of India to the heart of the empire he so fascisticly adored.
